Here is a severe case of chicken pox on a little girl. Chicken pox often last fora couple weeks, and can lead to scarring if the chicken pox are severe enough.Once someone has chicken pox they normally don't get that form of chicken pox, but can get shingles at an older age.
This is a severe case of shingles, they normally hit adults, and are basically chicken pox's for adults. They have the same attributes of chicken pox. One thing that helps to determine ifit is shingles or not is it only effects one part of the body, and it also only effect one side of the body.
This looks a lot like a localized case of poison ivy or poison oak. Poison ivy can be very itchy and lasts for about a week. You can usehydrocortisone or some kind of other creme to help with the itching. And contrary to popular belief the puss that is inside poison ivy blisters is not more oil that will spread. The only reason it seems that way is that if there are other parts of your body that get it you already had the oil there, it just took longer to absorb into your skin.
